Cambridge Creative Counselling

I provide trauma-informed, person-centred counselling for clients accessing ACC Sensitive Claims support following sexual harm. My pluralistic approach involves collaboratively considering which therapeutic approaches and interventions are most appropriate for each client, guided by their needs, preferences and therapeutic goals.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent and rainbow clients, including the ways identity, neurodivergence and experiences of marginalisation may intersect with trauma and recovery.

Creative arts therapy is available as an optional component of my counselling practice, where clients feel it would be a good fit. Creative approaches can provide alternative ways to explore, express and make sense of experiences alongside talking therapy.

I can also provide creative arts therapy as a separate adjunct service alongside a lead practitioner where appropriate within an ACC Sensitive Claims treatment plan. My work is collaborative, flexible and paced according to the client’s needs, with an emphasis on safety, choice and autonomy.
