What I Offer

I provide individual talking therapy and trauma-focused support for adults, working online across New Zealand, with in-person sessions available in Raglan. I work with ACC Sensitive Claims, general ACC mental injury claims, and EAP clients.

My Approach

My work is grounded in behavioural therapies, DBT, ACT and CBT, alongside EMDR, a specialised, evidence-based therapy for trauma processing. Alongside this, I bring an Occupational Therapy (OT) lens that complements the work: rebuilding the everyday routines, roles and sensory regulation strategies that often slip when things get hard. Combining these means addressing both the internal processing of what's happened and the practical, everyday side of getting life back on track.

Areas of Expertise
Trauma  (PTSD/cPTSD)
Anxiety, depression
Distress tolerance
Emotional regulation and executive functioning
Grief and loss
Stress and burnout
Sensory regulation and environmental strategies
Integrating therapeutic gains into daily life
Life transitions and direction

Experience

I'm a registered Occupational Therapist (OTBNZ) with over 10 years' experience in mental health, including clinical leadership roles within Te Whatu Ora, spanning a comprehensive DBT team and a CBT-based vocational rehabilitation service. Currently I work part time in a DBT team and I run my own private practice, The Insight Paths.

What to Expect

My approach is grounded and practical, with a focus on acceptance and change. Sessions are collaborative and paced to what feels right for you, there's no set formula, some people want space to process, others want practical tools and structure alongside that.
